so we should not follow up with them? Can i call them or ask anything or will it effects my file?
i am not sure, my immigration consultant asked me to send a follow up emails

but i guess when we send a follow up email, basically we reply to our own email and then the latest one shows in their mailbox which might delay our processing coz they can’t see our original sent email

this is what i think, i am not too sure, i sent a follow up email as well and its been 3 weeks now from the originally send email

p1 oct 3. Replied same day
Follow up email oct 17
No p2 yet

"We ask that you send your response only once unless there are changes to your situation following your initial response".
I see that there's been more and more queries about whether you should or should not send follow-up emails. The short answer is, you should not. The best thing to do is, stick to their guidelines and wait. I called the IRCC and I had to reply to the same email on the same day due to the fact that I missed the address. IRCC did ask me if I wrote explanation onto why I sent another email. I mentioned that I forgot the address as that wasn't listed on the email and I mentioned that on the email. He then stated that it is all fine.
Conclusion, they do ask for your every action and back that up with a good explanation onto why you did what you did. If it's just for bringing the emails at the top, sorry guys, we don't even know what systems they use and how many applications someone has on his or her table.

So, let's wait patiently and stay fingers crossed! We all got this! :)

It's going to take 3 to 4 weeks from P1 to receive P2 and same 3 to 4 weeks from P2 to receive your ECOPR, so no point in sending them inquiries regarding that although if you have been waiting for more than 4 weeks for P2 or ECOPR then it's fine to send them a follow up email.
