My sponsorship application was done in Canada as I live there. I just received an email to proceed with the PR Confirmation portal. It indicates I need to be in Canada for this process. What will happen if I am not in Canada and I won’t be there for the next month? Will my sponsorship be denied or will they just hold off on mailing my pr card until I return??? Please let me know how I can proceed. Much appreciated.

You need to be in Canada to proceed with the PR Confirmation portal steps. I would very strongly recommend that you return to Canada before the deadline given to you so that you can trigger this process. The inland process requires you to be living in Canada. If you can't return in time then you're putting yourself at risk for having IRCC say your not living in Canada and for having to restart the sponsorship process.
Hi, did IRCC mention any deadline (any number of days for example) before which you have to reply to the PR confirmation email? or mention that you are in Canada? Thank you in advance.
