PR Changes and Funds

Hi Guys,

1) concerning proof of funds - is the money I have in my provident funds enough or do I need to withdraw them to my bank account?
2) Can I change stuff in the PR application as long as it doesn't change my points? (for example, jobs removal from work history to personal history, adjustment of funds proof from 20,000 CAD to 17,000 CAD, jobs removal of my wife work history to personal history and so on?)

1. About POF I am not sure as most my knowledge is limited to CEC which doesn't require POF.

2. All the changes are allowed as long as it doesn't put your CRS below cut-off at the time you received ITA or doesn't put your application ineligible for the program you are applying under.

Any changes you make post-ITA should have a reason and should be mentioned in LOE.

I am assuming you already received ITA.

post-ITA meaning once you receive invitation to apply, before you submit e-APR(PR application).

Same issue here, I wanna remove m husband's wok to personal section to avoid getting letter of employment for him from back home but when I called CIC, they told me to keep his work experience under work section !

I am confused I am scared of rejection of I removed anything

CIC Call center people knows very little about what they are talking.

If you haven't received any points for that work experience (and probably you haven't because spouse foreign work experience has no contribution) you are okay to remove. Just mention that in personal history and write LOE saying you made this update because it was contributing no additional points.

That's because you're following blindly the advice of a call representative (not CIC agent).

right, so if I understand correctly, since I had 468 points in the last draw, I received an ITA. as part of the ITA, I also recieved an PR application form, correct?

so, to conclude: ANY CHANGE made from the EE application in the PR application must be accompanied with an Letter of Explanation, correct?

but when you know that you are responsible for all of your family's PR application and if Rejected they all will be sent to a country where a severe war is taking place, you will understand why I am hesitating between following logic or following the advice of a call representative.

Once you finish all the form and hit Continue button you will see document checklist. One of the slot in Document checklist is Letter of Explanation.

I understand where you're coming from but you've already received the best advice possible in this forum by Avisad.

I don't think Avisad's advice is formally recognized by CIC, even though he is very helpful and an expert but you know CIC and their rejection is as easy as piece of cake.
