PR - category 1, questions ?

Hi,

I am planning to send my application for PR under category-1. I have below questions.

1)How many days it will take to get confirmation from sydney office to send further documents. ?
2)I am IT professional, which NOC code, I shud use ?
3)am in canada since last 6months. Which visa office will be in my case. M from India. ?
4)If my visa office is New Delhi not in buffalo, will it take 3 to 4 yrs to process my application ?
5)which categoty is best, 1 or 3 ? Since I will be completing 1 yr in canda in next 5 months, will categoy 3 will be better then 1 ?

2) do your research in http://www.cic.gc.ca/
3) You can apply in Buffalo if you have been legally residing in Canada for at least one year. Otherwise, you have to apply from your home country.
4) No. New instructions are implemented to speed up the process.
5) Category 2: you are a foreign national who has been living legally in Canada for one year as a temporary foreign worker or an international student

I am on work permit (valid upto dec 09) since last 6 month and so. Manual says, u shud complete one yr in canada to process in buffelo visa office. I guess, it will be one year by the time, i need asked to submit my docs to visa office.

also in past 10 yrs, i had worked on differnt role (team lead, project lead, supervisor, admin, developer etc.)..Will i need to used code like 2174 or only 0213.....in the form...Confused...I saw this forum 3 days back only...there are many good posts regarding this. but still m bit confused.

In my work permit -
occupation - Interactive Media programmer & developer.
Valid - upto dec 2009.

Intially we get work permit (if apply from india and coming from india) for 6 months and later we have applied for extn and get another one yr.
