It's learnt that PR cards get stuck sometimes due to objections, mainly because of not providing the pics as per specifications. How and approximately after how much time do we know about these objections if there are any. Because considering approx six weeks time for normal PR card delivery, if someone is still on Canada's soil on a short landing for around six weeks...is it likely that he will get to know about this objection while being there ! Anyone who has come across such an unfortunate situation...please share.

The normal processing time for new PR cards is 61 days or almost 9 weeks (not 6 weeks). So it's unlikely someone will know if there's a problem at six weeks.

I got my PR Cards after 91 Days. You will know nothing in 6 weeks!!

Ok, thanks for correction...so how much time does CIC usually take to intimate in case of any objections. And do they intimate on email or by postal mail !
My point is,... does it so happen that one goes for a short landing, applies for PR card, doesn't stay until the collection of PR cards, but rather stays for six or seven weeks. Now if there is any objection, he gets notified about it during his stay as six / seven weeks seems enough time for cic to sort out whether his app and pics are ok as per specifications, ... then he can address cic's concerns and resubmit app and pics complying the instructions, and comes back. How practical is this scenario:)

Hi,

U need not to worry at all, coz now a days the pics are collected in advance with PPR, and u are not asked to submit the pics at POE applying for PR Card.

U will get the PR Card at the prescribed address, after 60 to 90 days. Relax..:)

if someone wants to play safe, it's better to get your cards and then return, though little but still there exists a risk element in coming back without having them.

so if somene is going for short landing, better to leave 3 or 4 photo graphs with ur friend or relative in canada who can immediately send pics to cic

atif bhai once they ask for new pics meaning we got to give them fresh ones, so leaving the copies of the one that we have already sent will not work I guess ! However thanks for sharing that pics can be delivered to them through your friend or relative...you don't have to there necessarily for it :)
Do you recall what was wrong with the pics that you had sent earlier !
