What is the time taken these days for receiving PR card from the day of landing?

43 business days usually 8- 12 weeks; sometimes takes 2 weeks for Canada post to deliver!!

Thanks. I read somewhere there can be problems with your picture for the PR card.
How soon do you know if that is the case and what are you supposed to do?

Hi, if you dont receive your PR cards under the estimated time line. You will have to contact the PR Card Centre, but the no. only works in Canada. 1 888 242‑2100. And the officer will let you know when you have to submit new photographs.

Would look at PR threads. Yes it is fairly typical although you should receive it soon.
