Hello everyone,
My husband is in India and has gotten his once one time entry visa to canada for PR.
My question is that once he lands in canada and applies for the PR card, can he leave canada without the card ? And a family member can courier the card to India ?

This was the usual practice, however, your husband need to quarantine for 14 days first upon his entry.

After 2 weeks of quarantine, is it possible to leave canada without the PR card?
Sure that is not a problem as you do not need a PR card to leave Canada , only need one to come back. Ensure family member uses courier to send the card and not regular mail.

Do not know what plans are to return to Canada but keep in mind the residency obligation that have to spend a minimum of 2 years in the 5 years from initial landing.

You can also come back to Canada using only COPR and passport from US land border. As long as you are driving yourself and not taking commercial vehicle. I did it while waiting for my PR card.
