I just wanted to share my experience guys and hope this helps.
Oct 21, 2021 - Got the eCoPR
Feb 2, 2022 - Called IRCC (told me that my card was sent for production on Feb 1, 2021)
Feb 8, 2022 - Linked my PR Card application to GCkey.
Feb 10, 2022 - Called IRCC again, (Told me that PR card application was approved and just waiting to be printed)
Feb 15, 2022 - Got an update that my PR card thru GCkey (not in the Portal) was mailed and may take 6 weeks to received.

PR Portal is still under review for Address and Photo - no update at all after receiving the eCoPR. I think it's better to call them, ask them for an update and link your PR Card application on your GCkey.
Hi did you receive your PR Card?

Hello!

I had a question and the IRCC call centre has not been helpful at all. Could anyone please help with this? (Year 2022)
  • I received my PR email on Feb 7th. It didn't even come to me. It wen to my representative who I don't work with anymore. They forwarded it to me a little delayed.
  • I replied confirming I am in Canada and received an email with credentials to login to the PR portal on Feb 8th.
  • I have international travel plans on March 2nd so I didn't upload my information to the PR portal as my understanding is that it may void my current TRV and Work Permit.
  • To my knowledge, I have not received my COPR but I'm really not sure if I can travel on my current visa or not? (It is not expired) Does anyone know this?
  • Additionally, the email I received gave me a 7 day timeline to upload my photo and address and I haven't done that (7 day timeline has passed). Will I be penalized? IRCC call centre agent said - officers will reach out if they have any questions. I have received no emails but I also don't know if it will go to my representative by mistake again?
My guess is that I am not a Permanent Resident and that I can travel but I really don't want to be stuck outside for months because of this. Especially during Covid! Thanks for any help on this! - I could really use some confirmation.
I had a similar strategy as I was supposed to travel on Feb 18th. But my idea was to delay response to the first email itself until I return back to Canada so they wont send the second mail and will have no restriction to upload things within stipulated time. But my application was being processed a lot earlier than expected so I decided to reschedule the travel plans.

I am not entirely sure but if you already declared that you are in Canada in your first email - you need to contact IRCC (somehow on the phone) to let them know about your travel plans and maybe they can put your application on hold (i know they can do that because in one of the post, a person received eCOPR on the date of travel and they reverted to back her status to temporary resident until she returned to Canada). Some of my friends received eCOPR even without the first email so it is a bit inconsistent.

One thing is very certain that all past visa/permits will void once you receive eCOPR.

Best bet is to reschedule the travel plan if not urgent. Peace of mind is more important than few 100 bucks of rescheduling fee.

I have linked the PR Application to the GCKey and I received below update in IRCC portal today but still the PR portal is saying "In review with IRCC"
"We mailed your permanent resident card to you. Your card can take up to six weeks to arrive."

Can someone please educate if this is a valid scenario ?
How many days it might take to get the PR Card Delivered ?

Thank you

It is valid, PR portal hardly gets updated nowadays.
It takes an average of 10 days for PR card delivery.

Hi All,

I got my eCoPR on 21st January, along with my daughter who is here with in Canada. My address was accepted in couple of days and and I received my PR card on 14th February. But my daughter's address and photo are still "In review". I linked her PR card application to my GIC account, had on GU the next day and nothing more. As it's almost a month since she got her eCoPR and no update in her PR confirmation portal, should I start trying to contact IRCC through email/call to push it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Any particular email where I can try to reach them? and is it ok for me to reach out on behalf of my dependent or should she be the one to reach out?
Hey , I am in a similar situation. My husband and one of my daughter's card has been approved in the IRCC portal but the other daughter is still in the submitted status. I am not sure if they have sent her PR card yet. How are handling the situation?

Thanks for the response!

Please can you clarify what you mean by your application was being processed a lot earlier than expected? How did you learn that?

I did respond to the first email letting them know I’m in canada but I didn’t respond to the second one. Instead I sent an email requesting they pause processing. I never received a response. And IRCC call center confirmed my status is still “processing”. I definitely don’t have my COPR. My understanding is that I now need to go in to the PR portal and confirm there that I’m in canada. Then they start my actual PR card processing.

I really need to go back as my family has been sick and I haven’t seen them in years. It has taken me a long time to get this time off and plan the travel.
I am obviously going to reschedule if someone (IRCC) can confirm that this is actually a concern. I am not getting good guidance from them :(

Finally got an update on my GCKey account. PR Card approved, got this message "We mailed your permanent resident card to you. Your card can take up to six weeks to arrive."

Does anyone know usually how much time will it take to Deliver(Ontario) ?
I do see updates on portal for me and my son. Spouse application is still on older state. Is it common that all applicants won't be approved at same time ?
