Guys, I must say mail your queries to Prairies Calgary IRCC as it helped us. We were waiting for our PR Cards for 4 months and then from the post I read here, I found a post where it said to mail to them. Within two week we received a reply from Calgary IRCC stating that they took over our files for PR Processing and we got our pr cards within 15 days from that email. Is anybody still waiting for their PR Card since getting ecopr around July?
Yes I sent an email to Prairies IRCC as well on Dec 20th after seeing that advice but all I received back was the automatic reply below on the same day:Guys, I must say mail your queries to Prairies Calgary IRCC as it helped us. I haven't received any other email other than this since then. I think I will try calling IRCC sometime this week.
That's good to hear. Maybe I didn't receive anything yet because of the holidays. I will keep waiting a bit longer.yes I had the same automatic reply and after 10 days we got an email from IRCC Calgary stating that:
Good Day,
Calgary IRCC has taken over your files for processing. Your Cards are in production and You should receive your PR cards in a few weeks.
We thank you for your patience.
I believe you can since eCOPR officially proves that you have PR now. Otherwise, you wouldn't have been able to get a new SIN with just eCOPR either; so the same principle applies.I recently received my eCOPR and currently residing in CANADA and waiting for PR card(got new SIN).
Applied through CEC with a job offer letter and i was a ICT(Intra company transfer) work permit holder before PR.
Can I search for new job before I get PR card since my employer may end my contract in next 3 months and I dont want to wait till last minute and be jobless
I know of many coworkers whose ecopr to pr card in hand journey was as short as 10-15 days. In fact, the longest i know of is 1 month. All those cases were CEC inland with inland dependents, the dependent (wife in all cases) got the PR card first and the primary applicant got the card 2 weeks after. Some of these people's ITA to PR journey happened in Feb-May 2021 timeframe, and others in July-Oct 2021 timeframe.Has anyone here received PR card in less than 60 days (as per the processing time on CIC website)??
Hey buddy, what is your VO?Got an update on the PR portal (eCOPR Nov 30th). My address was accepted but photo was rejected because "facial area is too big/small". Resubmitted my photo again, fingers crossed it gets accepted.
Thanks for the info, I am in the same boat when it comes to timeline. All the bestHi All,
I have been following the platform and thought I'd share my updates.
- Ecopr received: August 18, 2021
- Photo uploaded but got rejected so re-uploaded in about 7-10 days.
- Submitted Solemn declaration: November 18. Was received but no response from them
- Applied for an emergency PR card: December 6, Request denied since no such process for new PR cards (December 9)
- Sent email stating urgency and tickets booked for February to IRCC.ClientPortalPrairies-PrairiesClientPortail.IRCC@cic.gc.ca: December 20
- Got a response from them: December 22
Thank you for your inquiry regarding your PR card. The card may not be issued and sent to you before your upcoming travel.
The status of your Photo in the portal will remain at Ready for Review until the PR Card status is updated to Sent to Client or sent to IRCC.
At this time, IRCC has currently reduced operational capacity due to exceptional measures to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Therefore, we are unable to provide an approximate timeline of the production and distribution of the cards.- Additionally, outlined the process of applying for a PRTD in the email
Not sure if there is anything else I can do at this point.
Which email id are you talking about? please shareif you don't receive the PR card within 3 weeks of getting ecopr, you can initiate an email for an update. I feel at least 3 weeks.
