Dec 14, 2021 PR card received... with the 2nd photo on it. LOL!!!

I am mad and want to laugh at the same time. They made me stress about the PR card (and rejected photos in particular) more than I stressed about the whole PR application. I am so glad this is over.

Exactly! It is actually funny for all the people worrying about the card more than the PR itself, and for genuine reasons.
I am saying it is WILD WILD WEST right now. No Accountability!

I saw on Reddit there's a guy who got his PR card, all his details on the card are correct but the picture is of someone else. How does that even happen

We have called IRCC and they said they have mailed the PR card on Nov 29th and also status updated in the portal saying reviewed and closed and responded in an email saying they closed the case but haven't received the PR card yet any idea how long it usually takes to get the PR card through mail?

Unless you receive a COPR, and is signed, or you land in Canada and are admitted, only then you become a COPR.

For those who are in Canada and receive a e-COPR, may see a date when the application was approved as the date they became a PR.

However, those who are outside Canada will see a date when they landed and were admitted in Canada.

I cannot link the GC key since an immigration consultant submitted my application. Is it beneficial to link the application to the GC key?
