No updates since then.
I called IRCC today and got the same response and they have received my photos and they are processing it...no ETA..the never ending wait continues

Not a single update so far.
Yesterday, after 5 months trying to link my application to my profile, I was finally lucky to talk to a kind officer who checked thoroughly my data and I found out that there was a " - " in birthplace. That was the reason i could not get it right before, even after raising multiple webforms and talking to various officers. (Quick note, I had an earlier call with another officer who simply told me that she could not look into my application because of the Afghanistan issue. I hung up and called again and was able to talk the officer who helped me link my application)
Now at least I can see the status of my application. I don't know if it helps or bring more anxiety, but It is what it is.
Unfortunately there is nothing we can do other than waiting tis unbelievably disorganized and painful process, in which people who applied way after you, get their stuff done before. I believe that this is the idea of a FAIR process for IRCC....
People with AOR between Jan-2020 to May 2020 have been experiencing the worst processing times in our applications. I am glad that I am a PR now, but unfortunately I am from that group...
Anyway, let's be positive, try to focus on something else and hope that this stressful experience ends soon! At least we have another 2 years before dealing with IRCC again for the Citizenship application.

Glad you were able to link your application. Do you know why it was not working earlier ? When did you send your photos ?
because earlier I used the city name the same as I provided when applied for EE.. now I follow all the info on my passport... then it works..
my photo was delivered on April 9.
question: did you send the photos that day or they got them that day?
also.. ou first said it showed "submitted".. did it just change?
it shows submitted but when I accessed the application it shows card was mailed...
photo was delivered to the office on that day.. I believe this is a long journey... you have to be patient..
