Hi while linking my pr card application do i write the full name of the state in which i was born like in my copr it says Branala, PUNJ do i write just PUNJ or full PUNJAB. @legalfalcon please guide

Hi, the COPR was provided via direct email in February from the Etobicoke office. It was not uploaded on the CIC account until today I received emails stating I have a message in my CIC online account. I logged in and saw application/ profile updated (on the EE profile) with the documents there- found it strange because it has been almost 4 months..
Same for me as well, I got COPR number on 5th Feb and on 7th feb I got COPR in email as no document uploaded in account and on 28th April I got COPR uploaded in my account

start with the full name, if it does not work, then you can use the letters as they appear on your COPR.

I have verified that PR card does not have year of expiry, I know it is confusing because it only says Date and Month. Please refer a sample image here :

I just checked my mam's card because I was curious about your inquiry. Yes, only month on the front of the card, but at the back of the card it says: PR since dd/mm/year. Probably the month on the front of the card is the same month you became pr but after 5 years. it is weird not to write a year but I am sure there may be a reason or not behind it. IRCC are not the most immaculate people.

Oh, I just saw the English/French explanation. here we go

Hi Guys
In your PR card application what date you are seeing in Applicant information?
Ex:

  • Date Received: January 22, 2020

Is it COPR date or photo received date.

You should enter the way it is in your PR application. Most likely, you might have entered it as in your passport.
