1GU - 22nd September
Application updated to approved on 27th September only for dependent wife n daughter but primary applicant still in submitted status.

I have seen many having partial approvals same as mine, Does anyone know how long will it take to get the primary applicant approval as I have a travel plan comming soon.

Similar situation:
Photos delivered April 6th.
Called IRCC to update my address September 7th.
September 8th received 1st GU but no updates since then. I feel like that GU was related to address change. It is so frustrating how people who delivered or uploaded photos later are getting PR cads faster. It’s been 6 months to produce and mail a piece of plastic.. Not sure how they prioritize applications and why they skip some…
Whoever in a similar situation, please let us know to see how many of us in that group.

First GU - September 20th, 2021
Then directly status changed to approved & mailed. I guess there was no 2nd GU, as I was checking my application kinda everyday.

I presume I got a false GU then on 23rd September 2021 unless you were in the exception list that you got approval right away and mail too
