I thought declaration is only if we pr card is mailed and we haven’t got in 6 weeks. Did any agent told u to do it?Finally I got my first GU!
COPR- March 30
Picture sent to CIC - March 31
Picture received by Etobicoke Office - April 6
First GU - September 1 (I sent less than 1 hour ago a solemn declaration by fax and right after my profile had a GU. Coincidence?)
No, a friend of mine who did this recently, so I decided to do as well. The solemn declaration is "concerning a lost, stolen, destroyed or never-received permanent resident card"... I sent based on the "never received", explaining the day that my COPR was issue, the day the photo was received by the office and saying that since then I haven't received any updates. Not sure if it works, but I decided to try.I thought declaration is only if we pr card is mailed and we haven’t got in 6 weeks. Did any agent told u to do it?
I am in Same boat.... uploaded Photos on 7-May; my dependents cards were received on 4-Jun and mine not yet.. tried everything from calling to IRCC, Webform, reaching out to local MP and emailing to Etobicoke IRCC... but no use, all I learnt was all applicants cards are processed separately and my application is in Production since may end..Hi, please advise if anyone is on the same boat here.
CoPR on May 14 and photos mailed on May 17 for both primary and spouse in one envelope.
After photos mailed, we received the portal link so photos uploaded for both.
The primary applicant received a PR card early July with the photo uploaded to portal but the spouse’ card is still no ghost update. What happened to the spouse pr card?
I also faxed Solemn declaration, but i did not get any response or acknowledgement... When i called IRCC customer care, they told me Solemn declaration is only valid if IRCC has processed PR cards and mailed out to applicant.. mine was still under productionNo, a friend of mine who did this recently, so I decided to do as well. Who experience the same with Etobicoke office and PR confirmation portal? I know several people who received Confirmation Portal Email after me, and have already got a PR card (but different VO, not Etobicoke).
