This has been a very long discussed topic. Nothing stops you from travelling out from Canada. But coming back is a problem. Many people suggest getting the PR cards couriered by friends once they arrive in Canada if everyone in the family travelling. There is a risk of losing shipment. While carrying them with you(If you are staying back) and bringing the family back once cards arrive is a safer option. You can also think of the option of applying PRTD to come back to Canada while waiting for cards.As we are waiting for the PR Cards, can my spouse travel outside country while I wait for the cards. So that I can travel later with cards and bring her back. Please let me know, this is urgent.

if you got eCOPR via portal then you can upload there but if you got COPR in email then nothing to do, just track your mail if you sent via tracker mail.Hi everyone, I mailed my photos and COPR on April 28th and just wanted to know do we again get any email confirmation from Etobicoke office to upload my digital photo and confirm my address again. or else will they directly mail the PR Card to the mailing address provided before. Also I cant link my PR card application even though tried with different combinations of place of birth. Is it happening with me or everyone? Could you please help me on this. Thanks in Advance.
@JasamanHi all!
Just here to share my experience:
My application was approved on May 26 and PR card was mailed out on the same date. after 2 weeks of waiting for my card @shashi_b told me to call them for following up. when I called the lady checked the address and I realized they send it to my previous address, unfortunately. I was shocked cause when I moved to the new address I called and change it through an IRCC agent also even on the COPR that I receive in January, the address was the right one. I have not received my card yet (it's been 6 weeks) and tomorrow I have to fill a solemn declaration form to report a lost and have no idea how long I should wait to get my card. So please if you change your address before receiving the card double-check with them.
Yes, i received my spouse's PR card as well.Have you got yours and your spouse both?
I have the exact same scenario but still waiting for my PR Card, hopefully soon.PR card delivered today. This concludes my PR journey. All the best
