No, it's not mandatory. It's just for tracking. You should have all details. It asks basic things such as your UCI, date on became PR, DOB, place of birth, family name, passport number, etc
it is same IRCC portal where we created our PR / EE profile application

Once you login, you will see link or add application
There are three options GC key like that but thing is that I don’t have user name or password for it .. I have only my portal details and copr .
in case you have applied via agent or agency then either get details from them or ask them to add PR Card applications or even you can call IRCC to link them.
You can use second option which is login partner and setup your account through your bank account login, and then you can link your card in the account.

My eCOPR is from June 23, linked the PR card application on CIC portal the same day!
Received a Ghost Update on PR card application yesterday July 14th, but didn't receive any email notification though! Has anyone received any email notifications for GUs ?
and If GU means anything, what was your timelines for PR card approval email after it ?

Photo is still in review with IRCC in the portal. I can't link the application on CIC either.
I sent the webform but no reply yet, and I can't call IRCC since the number is always busy.
Should I be concerned? Any idea what to proceed from here or just keep waiting?

Is your PR application showing approved on CIC ?
If yes, try to link the PR card application using "UCI & Family Name" option, at "Place of Birth" box use the wording exactly as per your passport!
Both PR application and PR card showing submitted. PR application is still showing submitted instead of approved even I have received eCoPR.

Hey, we have almost same timeline, copr on june 17 (got from etobicoke office) and got 1st GU today. please update me if you get further update.
