PR card time line through pr confirmation portal..!!!

I am from Waterloo too and my pr card was approved on July 2nd too. Still awaiting....

I had same approval date, Jul 02. Got the card in mailbox yesterday. Yours is coming soon. As I read, seems like most of the cards came from Case Processing Centre, Sydney, it doesnt matter which VO you're at for the PR application.

Hlo guys . 26 june I received an email saying your case approved and closed by ircc your card will be mailed to you . That day my photo and address everything got accepted on PR portal. Yesterday they updated my cic account on 6 july. My expiry date is 30 june 2026 . Is there anybody please tell my if you have any idea . When they mailed my card . On the date of approval if PR portal ? Or yesterday when they updated cic account?? Or 30 june because expiry date is for 5 years ???? Anybody please have an idea????TIA

Hey just wondering did you get a ghost update at all before your PR card was approved?

What it means GU here? I know for the EE portal, but how do you identify GUs in the PR Confirmation Portal?

GU means ghost update. It's when you visit cic.gc.ca and login to check your application, then you see status as "Application updated" and nothing has changed. Sometimes only little details change like status type. Mine is currently submitted and eligibility is in progres.

Yes I had one GU around a week before the application turned to approve. this was all in CIC not Portal.

Got my PR card approved and shipped out about an hour ago. Will update when I have received it.
The PR portal hasn't been updated yet but the cic.gc.ca portal is good

Congrats. I think 3-4 days . My portal approved on 26 june and cic 6 july . I haven’t receive it yet

Yes I had one GU around a week before the application turned to approve. this was all in CIC not Portal.

Thank you for the answer, I noticed a GU on my cic account yesterday regarding my PR card. Hopefully I will see an update soon

I checked Canada post’s official website. It says:
The delivery standard for regular mail sent inside Canada is:

• Two business days for local mail
• Three business days within the province
• Four days for national mail
