I checked CRA what they instruct to do.
I must fax a form to them so they determine my tax residency status. However this takes a while. The deadline for tax return is 1st of June.
I want to fill the return as assumed resident and launch the form procedure for residency check status in parallel?
I suppose CRA can amend later on my status. With zero income and no claim - it is just a matter of doing formality right.
