PR Card Status

Dear Experts,

Recently I completed my landing in Toronto and came back via AVR rule. At the time of landing, I did not had Canadian address for the PR card and was informed by the officer to send it later whenever I have the address. Now I have faxed my Canadian address but just wanted to know if there are any ways to find out the status of the PR card. Do we have any number where I can call to find out the status of the PR card?

Sorry mate, I dont have answer for you, instead I have a question, what is AVR rule ?

AVR stands for automatic visa revalidation (applies to travel from USA to adjacent islands and Canada, Mexico and return back within 30 days without visa).
