PR card renwal status is "in process" since more than a month now.

Hi,

My father and sister have filed their PR renewal application on June,2015. The applications were received on 12-June-2015, on the Ecase they can see that they got into process on 16-Nov-2015, but till now nothing after that.

the Ecase is not being updated and they didn't receive any emails or letter and no feedback so far.

according to CIC their applications are under process and they should wait until mid of Jan,2016 to check again.

Is this normal?? and is there any one here in the same situation?

We r in same situation since Aug 15. Since August our status is showing under process and also on same date CIC has sent a letter which we have not received. We r in more tension what is that letter. Was same type of note or any letter u also received ? Pl share

No letters were received only the Ecase shows that their applications are in process and it doesn't say that CIC has sent any letters.

Has it been 190 days since ur application was received? If yes, then you can get in touch with CIC to make a case specific inquiry.

Also, I read somewhere that they were having problems with issuing the new card type. Add up the holidays at the end of year. You should probably wait till end of Jan and see if there is any new info on ecas.
