Pr card renewal

Hi,

I applied for pr card renewal in Dec 2014, received reply in 5th March 2015 through CAS, the same day they sent a letter which till date i have not received. I'm outside canada so do not know how to contact cic? My PR expires in June 2015 and am travelling to canada before the expiry.

I meet all residency obligations but im not sure what the letter will hold for me. Its been 23 days and haven't received the letter in mail so worried. Maybe its lost in post. will they contact me via email which i have given, if they dont receive a reply.

Please any idea what the letter contents maybe and if someone has gone through a similar scenario.

It could be anything. What lines appear in your ecas?

Well it says its "In Process" after pressing that it take me to another window which says the following

Permanent Resident Card
We received your application for a permanent resident card on December XX, 2014.

We started processing your application on March XX, 2015.

We sent you a letter on March XX, 2015.(same date as above) Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

You do realize they won't send you any paperwork outside of Canada so they likely sent it to whatever address you listed on your renewal application. If they sent you a letter at the same time they opened the application it is likely wanting a verification of some sort from you regarding something before they can continue with the processing.

That's true. They need you to send something and it is not photos because if it was photos they would have approved your application first and then asked you for new ones.

Is there anyway i can contact them from outside canada via email or phone, the postal address i've sent is of my house and where my family lives. They haven't received it yet, so just wondering should it take so much time for delivery of the mail.

or can i authorize my wife from there to ask them what is required.
