Now My wife is working in canada and my children are studying in canada since May 2010. Now they are planning to give their PR Card renewal applicaiton. They have 730 days living in canada. Please advise me the following :-

1. Howlong it will take to get their renewed PR card.
2. I have not lived in canada 730 days. Is it any possiblity to renew my PR card on considering my family in canada
3. Shall I Travel to Canada before befor expring of my PR CARD ( i.e. Expirey on 15th May 2012)
4. As I have not stay in canada 730 days, the immigration office will reject my entry ?

1. Current processing times are 74 days: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-card.asp
2. No - you must meet the residency obligation in order to renew your PR card.
3. Yes - you should return to Canada before the expiry of your PR card.
4. The officer cannot refuse you entry in Canada, but he/she could report you for failing to meet residency obligations. If you are reported, you will have to appear in front of a judge to argue why you should be allowed to retain your status. If you are not reported, you should remain in Canada without leaving for even one day until you have fulfilled the 730 residency obligation and then apply to renew your PR card.

If your PR status is revoked, your wife can apply to sponsor you as a PR again:

The procedure is here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse-apply-how.asp
Timelines are here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp

If your PR status is revoked, it may be difficult for you to obtain a visit visa to visit your family in Canada since CIC will know you want to remain long term.

The procedure for applying for a visit visa is here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/apply-how.asp
Processing times are here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp/visitors.asp

It is from the date they received their applications. If they have travel plans in the near future, they can attach copies of their flight tickets and receipts for payment and ask for expedited processing. Instructions here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/pr-card/apply-how.asp#urgent

If travelling with expired PR card , travel by land should be fine as long as they carry landing paper, right ? Atleast that's what CBSA officer at peach arch boarder mentioned...

Yes, they should be able to get in through the land border but they could have a problem if they try to board a plane.
