OP is not compliant, I know. So, the application will simply be returned or the application will be kept pending until OP meets residency requirement. Some one said, the OP could loose PR status and that is not corrdct. Simply scaring people.
If you apply without meeting the 730 days your application will be returned if you are on track to be compliant with your RO and it is over 9 months from the expiry date of your PR card. OP is not compliant with RO so this is a very different si

Also not true. It is possible for them to start process of reviewing and issuing the relevant report, starting process of revoking PR status.

I somewhat disagree with the other poster about how common and hence how risky in different circumstances, but the potential for losing PR status is definitely there, and the potential consequences therefore severe. How likely it is that it will occur is, I think, an actual question on which reasonable people disagree.

But saying it is not possible that the OP could lose PR status? Not true. It is possible.

And the new Government could start an enforcement program for people arriving .
Where there is zero tolerance for being non compliant .

Let’s cut to the chase here . It’s an extremely low residency obligation. Almost laughable.

Opinions are opinions, and I don't disagree with you that it is a low bar to meet, and the enforcement seems to be weak, and the test for H&C is - arguably at least - inconsistent / possibly overly generous.

That said: your distaste for / opinion of is NOT the relevant point when someone is asking what appears to be the risk at present - it's what info we have on how it seems to be treated at the border (reported experience).

Yes, with allowance for it's anecdata, not proper sampling. Yes, with due consideration for the fact that the policy could change at any time (eg zero enforcement) - although saying they 'could' get stricter means not much at all.

If all you've got to say is it could be stricter and you wish it was - maybe just write your MP? Or start a thread, "These are the Grievances of Compinwithlife"?

Or "IRCC - J'accuse!"
