PR card renewal refund, after citizenship oath

To all who have applied for PR card renewal that ran in parallel with your citizenship application, where the citizenship process finished first before the PR card renewal, some people have simply said they were refunded.

Can you advise how the fee was refunded? Direct deposit? cheque in the mail?

We paid our PR card renewal fee online via interac.

PR:

1. Received on June 5, 2015
2. In-process October 29

Citizenship:

1. Test: Sept 27
2. Oath: November 26

Yes I think so! I mailed both the applications on the same day in March, my PR went for secondary review in April and never heard back from them. My E-cas just showed in process and that they sent me a letter.
After my oath I called them and told them that I'm a citizen now, a month after I got an email that since you are a citizen you are not eligible for a PR card and that my case is closed now! And that's about it
Maybe call them and find out, each case is different you know!
