@armoured @Ponga Thanks folks, I will try to present it that way then., and will consider if adding an explanation letter would help or if it would rather confuse things, because while armoured mentions:

-if you need to provide other places you visited during that trip, you can do so. Either write it in the box or if you can't fit, add a short Letter of Explanation. (Eg during my year residing in Eurostan, I made trips to USA, dates).

And that's just the thing, I don't know if I have to provide that or not. There is no box to add this that wouldn't generate confusion, unless I just add them anyway being it says: "Your location(s) during your absence (city, country/territory)" so just asking for city/country, it does not ask for addresses in this section. There is a previous section asking for address history, but I can assume a 1/2 week work trip does not count to include this as my address at that time?

So for the side trips, I guess either

a) Don't mention them if they're not really relevant
b) Mention each on its own line (expanding many more lines for one absence from Canada with as many trips as I took in that period)
c) Don't add lines but do list city/country and add an explanation letter clarifying that during time away I also took those other work trips

First, when I was saying address, I just meant what they asked for. If city/country is what they ask for, fine.

b) don't do this.

c) is closest to what I was suggesting. I don't know how important, but you basically can't go wrong by just telling them the truth.

Up to you.

Thanks, might go with the c route. Now the only other pending question, and after reading several threads here, is whether online or mail... You would think online means it's in their files quicker but...

Online appears to be a clown car in a traveling circus, based on the myriad reports of others.
