PR Card Renewal Online Status

My application received 14 Sept
Start processing 3 Nov
Approved 16 Nov.
Still waiting. The 81 days processing time has passed. Get confusing information each time I contact CIC. Initially informed that It should be mailed by the end of last week. Then informed it may take up to 21 Jan. If you applied in Sept please share your timeline.

Hi guys question,
I will be landing this february and i believe that they will process the PR card after landing, i just have some questions,im married, but my passport is still in my single name, my visa was also issued using my single name, i am planning to change my name into my married name on my passport as soon as i land in feb, how can i do that with the PR card also? coz i believe that with passport, you will just need to go the embassy of your country to change your name right?

- We received your application for a permanent resident card on November 12, 2013.
- We started processing your application on December 12, 2013.
- Your request for a permanent resident card was approved on December 16, 2013. Your Permanent resident card will be mailed to you or if quality assurance is required, made available for you to pick up at a CIC office.

Here's the update of our time-line for the two non-urgent applications. See my earlier post on 28 Nov for background.
1. Applications were delivered by courier on 13 Nov, 2013.
2. We received your application for a permanent resident card on November 18, 2013.
3. We started processing your application on November 22, 2013.
4. Your request for a permanent resident card was approved on December 9, 2013. Your Permanent resident card will be mailed to you or if quality assurance is required, made available for you to pick up at a CIC office.
5. Received our new PR cards by mail on 13 Dec 2013.
The application marked "Urgent" encountered some hiccups but was quickly resolved and received earlier than the latter 2 mentioned above.

No news after, no decision has been made yet, neither received any communication. called CIC- they advised me your application is still at Sydney-NS, for a review. do anyone have same experience over here. what would be the outcome.

Congratulations. did your ecase status changed from decision made to complete when they mailed your PR card? Mine approval of PR card renewal was on 2nd Dec 2013, I am still waiting for the PR card delivery.

Yes I received 3rd January at 4.pm status changes to complete at 5.00pm,and no tracking number or stamped ,but it says DO NOT FORWARD.Total 83 days since they received the application .I guess its mailed in a bulk mail from Sydney to local office than local office wait, review ,investigate or interviewed or mail,,
