I submitted my PR renewal application on Dec 24, 2023 and It is still in submitted status. Did you do anything differently? I am also unable to link the application to IRCC account and also did not get a confirmation.

same situation as yours. I called them and they mentioned its been assigned but has been processed yet, they gave me application number but not much help, unable to pull any status.
My husband applied for PR card renewal on March 3rd. No AOR. Not yet on the client account services status page. Ircc linked app shows previous app only with comment status as ' your card is invalid' on the 19th March. No updates post that. Not able to see the new app on gckey account. Do I need to call them to see what is happening?
I was able to check the status through inspect mode and saw the application status as complete on 15th March. Gc key status update date 19th March - your card is invalid (old app linked). No email no message on ircc gc key account as yet. Pr card not yet received.
Give it a week or two and you'll get the new card. Someone previously had a similar status update in their GCkey account. Marking invalid at the first application is an indication that your file is progressing.
Can you however clarify for me, is this status visible on the main page once you login into GCKey? or do you have to navigate into the original PR card application?

Update: he got his PR card by mail today.
The status was updated on the previous application(original). Had to navigate it to see that status and date updated.
Btw, current status is still neither available on client account services page nor on ircc gckey account.

Thanks, my wild guess is they are prioritizing folks whose cards are near expiry or expired. Your husband’s is a second example i’ve noticed so far, assuming it was a non-urgent application.
I don't think that's necessarily the case as my PR card expired on March 25th, 2024. I submitted my PR renewal application on Dec 24, 2023 and still shows submitted.
I'm not talking about the status shown on the portal, but rather how they decide which applications to process first. It appears that they prioritize processing applications from individuals with cards nearing expiration or already expired.
