PR Card renewal (omission of Outside Canada period)

I have lost 2 US travel records of my time outside of Canada in relation to my PR Card renewal and cannot recall the exact period. In this case, is it acceptable to submit the application with this omission?

Letter of explanation. Include your best guesses of your travel dates in the application itself and then include an LOE to explain that you don't know the exact dates. I'm assuming you already tried ordering your travel record?
