Here are some updates on my PR card renewal.

The card was mailed on Dec 15, 2022

If I may ask, where did you get the notification for approval and then card mailed?
I only see Decision Made (changed from In process to Decision Made today morning) on ECAS but nothing in GCKey.

Did you go through the same as well?

I got the information from GCKey and still nothing on the ECAS other than Decision Made.

Im in the process of sending my application for PR renewal and was wondering if paper app is the best way to go ? Also, I plan on travelling this month and will need PRTD to get back, How long does PRTD application take to process and would they have any concerns about my PR renewal in process and applying for PRTD ?

I applied for PR card renewal on September 15th 2022 through a representative. He gave me a link to check the status but the status only shows submitted ever since. Idk what’s going on, can someone please guide on how long it takes and how to check the status?

And can’t check on the online status checking like either, it says it’s unable due to a list of possible reasons

Hey folks.. I checked on my PR card renewal process on the pr portal today and there is a message under 'Return Reason' which says 'Photos are missing'. This is clearly BS because it wont let you submit unless you submit the photographs..

However, there is nothiing I can do on the portal to resubmit the photos... Does this mean I need to resubmit the photograph using web form or just submit a new application?

If they do want me to resubmit the application, I will do it on paper this time.. Clearly the platform is not ready for use yet!

I submitted my PR card renewal online about a month ago, and my application was finally found and linked on gckeys this morning. Does this mean that it's close to getting approved and the card will get mailed soon?

Here is my timeline:

PR Renewal - Paper based
Sent the application on Oct 4, 2022
Received on Oct 6, 2022
Started processing on Oct 25, 2022
Application approved on Dec 15, 2022
The card was mailed on Dec 15, 2022

When I sent my application, the website said that the average processing time was 90 days. Mine was finished in about 75 days.

Linked to GC Key with UCI + Last Name - 9 Dec (No application found till 8th Dec)
Case Approved and PR Card Mailed - 10 Dec

Note - No update till now in PR card portal and Online status checker.. Only GC Key gave me the update after linking.

Yes, Mostly within a week you should get it approved

Try adding it to our GC Key profile with your UCI + LastName. If not found there, they havent started procressing your application yet

No it doesn't show anything regarding my application. I can only check on the PR portal (still shows Submitted) or gckey (not linkable until this morning).
