PR Card Renewal & New - 2022 Processing Timeline

Yes, the submitted button is 'purple' in color. I submitted my online PR Renewal application on Feb 5th. I am currently not able to link my PR renewal application on the IRCC portal for whatever reason.

I thought the change in color meant that someone was looking into my application.

Just keep on trying and you should be able to link the application soon just like me.

I never was able to link my application it always shows the old Pr upon landing any one know how I can add the renewal in GCkey

Wow. 1yr almost. And I thought I was the only one. I landed on March 26, 2022 and I still haven't received my PR card. The rest of my family did though.

I read a lot in this forum about that… maybe it’s a thing with their system

Your latest PR card details wont show up on GCKey account until it is picked up for processing. Since you just submitted your application, unlikely that you will be able to link it so early.

Not yet. Had application returned 2 times due to “photos are missing “ The second time there was a reason for the return though so I was able to upload using digital photos. That was on January 24th. Still waiting.

The agent advice me to send a paper application as their online system do that all the time, like the photo is there but when the officer open the application, they can’t open or see the photo. So I just sent a paper application this time. I hope it will work

There was issues with the photo I had sent the first 2 times but never an error message telling me what was wrong. Just “photos are missing”. The last time I resubmitted there was an error message about the quality of the pictures. There needs to be more information in the return reason , not just “photos are missing”. I don’t trust those agents one bit. They are notorious for giving inaccurate information and bad advice.

Haha, I am in the same boat. Just that in my case, my wife received her PR card in 45 days, my son got his after 6 months and I have not received it yet and it has been 11 months since we landed.

Whoa that's a long time. What do the IRCC agents say on call or did you get any reply on webforms? Also, since it has been very long did you send the solemn declaration for PR Card?
