PR card renewal - how long after mailed by IRCC

Hi,

I submitted application for my pr card renewal under urgent. Acknowledged by IRCC on july 12th . Its status now is complete and it says pr card mailed on 18th july. However, i haven’t received pr card yet. How long it takes for the card to reach after mailed by IRCC? Mailing address is my friend’s address in Toronto GTA. I need to travel urgently on 17th Aug for a surgery in my family.

Basically up to three weeks. Issue seems to be that when they say 'mailed' that probably does not mean delivered to Canada Post, but could be to just their mail room. But if true you should be good for mid August.

You might get it sooner than I put, as I said, I think it's more a function of when they actually give it over to Canada Post.

Mine was mailed on July 12, still haven't received it. I am panicking because I have flight tomorrow and I don't know what to do.

my pr card is still not received at the mailing address as my friend told me. I have also queried using 2 webform requests but no reply on that also. When i call IRCC, it’s always saying due to high volume of calls, call can’t be transferred to an agent. I’m stumped, i don’t know where it stands. Status says it was mailed on 18th July. I applied under urgent so everything was fast, acknowledged on 12th july and status changed to complete with mailed on 18th july. I don’t know whether it’s IRCC taking time or is it my friend not being fair. Problem is i can’t track the mail whether it’s still in mail room or is already mailed

Call IRCC at 1 (888) 242-2100 . When you call IRCC, It will ask you for the UCI , press 2 i.e. no UCI available and then as soon as the message for AF and UK refugees start playing press 3 3 0 in quick succession you will be able to reach them. The real deal is - don't wait to hear out the refugee messages

No, I applied regular in April, was approved July 10 and mailed to me July 12. Im still waiting. I will keep you posted.

The documents mentioned on the website are enough for submission for the classification of a case to be urgent? Please let me know.

yes. Basically, medical certificate, air tickets and a letter explaining the urgency, for example.

Call IRCC at 1 (888) 242-2100 . I tried this. Pressing 330 does took me to connect to agent but instead of agent picking it or putting me on queue, system denies to transfer to agent due to high volume of calls

You have to try often, it will get you trough eventualy. Best time to try is in the morning.
