PR card query - Help needed

I am currently doing soft landing from US, but need to go to India on May 1st from US as my project is ending.
I will to Canada from India. I think I should apply PRTD from Indian VFS. Can you please share the steps/documents/process for applying PRTD from Delhi VFS.

The only problem i see if what if takes more than May 1 to get back your passport.

The steps for applying can be googled.
I didnt had to do anything about 730 days obligations. I mean i didnt do anything different.

I am not able to find specific details for PR card application at the time of landing. I only found instructions that PR card will be filed at the port of entry. I am in the US and planning to complete my landing by road sometime end of May 2018. Do I need to bring new photos for my PR card? We got our COPR in March 2018. Our photos will be within six months from the time COPR was issued.

Nothing required- the picture on your COPR will form to be a part of the PR card.

A new PR doesn’t have to satisfy the 730 days requirement and you should get your passport in 2 weeks.
