PR Card Processing - May 2020 Applicants

My Family and I just became landed permanent residents two weeks ago and I did link my application to track my PR card. However, CIC says this is not necessary since the PR card will automatically be sent to the address we provided. Of course I read this after I had linked my application. WIll this screw things up? Also, since I am the primary applicant, do I need to do it for each of my family members?

Hopefully it will change to "Approved" in 1 or 2 days. Congrats

Its true that you do not need to do it. But it always good to be able to keep a track. It will definitely not harm your process in any way. Its good to do it for each of your applicant as each card is processed separately.... but again not needed.

Sent COPR document without additional pics to Etobicoke office - May/24/2020
1st Ghost update - Sep/03/2020
2nd Ghost update - Sep/08/2020 - Application approved - PR card mailed.
"We mailed your permanent resident card to you. Your card can take up to six weeks to arrive. "

Not yet, still waiting for my cards, hopefully before Friday this week.

Hi. I physically received 2 PR cards and got a ghost update for the 3rd card today. Hopefully the 3rd card will be approved soon.

Hello All,
PR Cards received today, the 13th Sept. Must be sitting in the mailbox for a day or two I guess.

Hello, Did you received you PR card yet? I sent my photo on June 05th, they haven't started my process yet or at least I haven't heard back from them. More than 100 days already. Thank you.

1st Ghost update - Sep/05/2020
2nd Ghost update - Sep/18/2020 - Application approved - PR card mailed.
"We mailed your permanent resident card to you. Your card can take up to six weeks to arrive. "
