Hello All,

We are landed immigrants. We did our landing from the US and left for India after staying about two months in Canada. About a week ago, we received a letter (on our Canadian address) from CIC asking for new pictures of me and my daughter for our PR cards. One of the requirements on the CIC website is that CIC wants the date the picture was taken on the back of the picture. Unfortunately there are no photo studios here in our city that print the date on the back of the picture. I approached the local Canadian VFS office but they are unaware of any such requirement. In this scenario does the CIC accept hand written dates or rubber stamped dates on the back of the picture. Please suggest.

This is not my own case but my friend has sent picture with rubber stamped date, and got PR card.
She said that she took the picture at London Drugs.
Good luck for you.

Rubber stamped will do but ensure u put it safely wrapped in tissue paper as any blotting on photo will be rejected.
So ensure the rubber stamp ink dries up completely.

Thanks Oba3 and Vidya.
