i have received my ITA and I have claimed points as my brother is in Canada and has recently received his PR. But he is still awaiting his PR card. I do have the PR stamp on his passport and the Confirmation of PR document. Is it absolutely necessary to submit the PR card or can I use his passport and the ‘Confirmation of PR’ document as proof for my claim?

Hi Krunal,
I was told that the COPR(Confirmation of PR) will suffice, but i waited for 20 more days and my brother got the PR card and then i submitted along with his PR card.

I have one more question. I am from India. Do we need to submit both Indian Passport & Birth Certificate to show relationship with my brother?

Yes. we will need to submit both the indian passport and birth certificate. i also submitted the passports of my parents to verify the last name in both my sibling's and my passport.
