PR card not delivered after 45 days...plssssss help

Hi,
I landed in Vancouver and gave my friend s address in Toranto to the immigration officer. He took our signatures and attached a big form on the passport for each one of us. That was 30th April and I left for USA after a week.
After that its 45 days have elapsed, but I am still waiting for PR card on the address in Toranto. My friend has not received that. There is one phone number that is only accessible from Canada. Can you guide me who to approach/ how to approach. Do any one of you experienced this type of delay??

Please call the CIC Call Center and ask the status of PR Card:

From inside Canada, you can reach the CIC Call Centre at 1-888-242-2100, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Eastern time, Monday through Friday.

Thanks so much Wilson for your reply. But I am in USA and then this number is not reachable. Is there any other way that you can suggest? Is it normal that there can be > 7 weeks for 1st time lander? Appreciate evry word of advise. Thanks much

dont worry i got my pr card after 50 days .may b on the way

yeah i received it after 5 weeks as well, you can call the cic number to confirm..

if your calling from vancouver you have to call at around 6-8 am in the morning to get through, because the call center is in ontario which is 3hrs ahead, and if you call after 4 pm in ontario it doesn't put you in line to speak to an op and disconnects you immediately..
