Help and suggestion needed regarding my PR case

I am a PR holder that expires on 17th April 2024. I did my landing in April 2019 and stayed for 8 days and left Canada. Initial plan was to move to Canada within 1 year in 2020 but Covid 19 came and then everything was postponed. In late 2020 I also got married and have a baby girl now. So once I reach Canada, I have to sponsor them both too.

My question is how much can I delay going to Canada so that I am eligible to renew my PR.
As I understand that I need to do 730Days (2 years) within my PR card validity of 5 years which means I need to be in Canada max by April 2022 and stay till April 2024.
But if I go to Canada in August 2022 due to some family commitments, , can I further stay after my expiry in April 2024 for the missing months (5 months in this case) till say Aug 2024 and then put a renewal application. Will that work for me to renew my PR card?

Also to note here that once I travel late in Aug 2022, I will be filing an application to sponsor my wife and kid so will the IRRC create an issue for me due to late arrival? This is the most important point that I am worried about of sponsoring my family

Help and suggestion needed regarding my PR card,

I have received my CO-pr on 24th June 2021, CEC inland and applied for PR card on 30th June. Since then I have not received any updates. I linked my PR card application to GC key and got a notification on last Saturday saying that we are working on your application. Its been 5 and half months and still waiting for PR card. I tried to contact MP but havent received any reply yet. Please advise.

Hello Everyone, checking if anyone else has the same issue. Applied for PR Card renewal on August 9th 2021, received AOR on November 22nd 2021. Submitted Emergency process request on November 23rd 2021 and overall application status changed to "DECISION MADE" on December 2nd 2021. But detailed status still showing, We started processing your application on November 22, 2021. GCKEY is not showing any update as well. Can someone please help me understand what stage my application is in. Anyone with same issue/experience?

That would work. You won't have problems if you enter August 2022, but you have to wait at least until August 2024 before renewing your PR card. I am not sure about sponsoring your family immediately upon your return, but I think it should be fine, too.

I email on this is but did not get any response
