PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

Ours received August 6. Processing begun Nov. 8. Nothing since then. This just makes no sense. But congrats - happy for you!

What info are you entering to link the application to your account? I tried entering UCI and Family Name + Place of birth but it says no applications found. Does the place of birth need to match with what's in eCOPR?

It should match with what you put in when you submit the application

Permanent Resident Card

Thank god this is over. Nevertheless my citizenship application is pending for 1.5 years but I will take this small victory today. At least I can enter and leave the country in peace. Applied from Toronto.

Update: received the PR card in the mail today. I live in Toronto. Thank god this chapter is closed. This forum was very helpful, best of luck to everyone here.

After I celebrate this small victory I will move on to the citizenship forum and complain about the bureaucracy there

Also, my eCOPR expires on Dec 18th, 2021, so does that mean I would get PR card before that date? Has anyone had an expiration date much further into the future?

hi All, My PR card renewal application was received today (Canada post tracking). How long does it take for IRCC to update their systems. When I tried linking my application, the previous application was linked to my account. I don't think this new PR card renewal application is yet uploaded on the system.
Also, does IRCC send an email once the application number is generated?

As per the current time line, wait time is around 3 month before it show up on the system. You ll receive an email for AOR

They won’t send anything for at least 100 days… they got mine first week of september. I am still waiting for AOR… i can’t believe this process takes almost 5 months… i am sorry but that’s no reasonable

Mine and my wife's timeline is same as above. While I received my PR card in first week of November, my wife's status is still decision made. We are flying in February and a bit worried of thie delay.
