For me decision made on sep 9, no updates yet, was planning a trip oct 17, so you are still in better situation. If it takes 4-5 weeks normally then you still seem to be in good situation

Hi All, Anyone sent in their apps in July heard anything? Mine was received July 25th as per CP tracking. By reaching he threads they look to be working on May and June at this time.

Same case with mine my application received by IRCC in same days but I haven't heard from them yet No AOR yet nothing. It seems we could get AOR this month hopefully.

Landed via express entry on 22nd of sep.

updated my address by phone on 29 of September.

I still can’t track the application via mycic account. It just tells me that no application was found under the detail I provided. Is that normal?

also I need to travel in February as I retain a residency in another country, do you think I can get my pr card by that time?

It takes about 4 months to open the file. You cannot track it before that.

Hello All.. I am have a query..

I applied for Urgent PR Renewal for me, my wife and my child on August 1
Received AOR on August 12 and they started working on all three applications on the same day..
My wife and my son's application went through and got their PR cards in last week of August..

But my card has been in process ever since.. I had to cancel my tickets to India since we did not had PR Cards and PRTD wait time in India is long..

I called them up on Sept 21 to know about status of my application, the rep said it the decision has been made and the card will be sent for printing.. next day the status changed to DM.

But again nothing ever since.. I called them up again on October 5 the rep said your card is in queue for printing!!!

I am super confused and frustrated.. I have booked my tickets for December 3 and return on December 31... It really urgent as I have to attend a surgery of my parent.. can't postpone anymore. In addition to that.... I have been offered a position and I have to furnish my PR for status in Canada..

I have once again send a Urgent PR requests with my job offer letter, new tickets, payment receipt etc.

What should I be doing more?

Should I be sending my application all over again if I don't get my card by say end of October?

Please advice...

Thank you..

Based on what IRCC has told you, you should get your PR cards in time for your December trip. I get that you're anxious because of your parents' surgery, but December is a very long way away, and pretty sure you'll get them before October ends.

With all honesty, your urgent processing was definitely done urgently. It takes 4-5 months for a normal PR card application these days. Easier said than done, but RELAX.

Congrats on receiving the PR cards, happy to seeing updates on cases.

Could you please tell me how long you stayed outside Canada? Just trying to ascertain how many days it takes from in process to decision made and mailing of PR cards for applicants whose cases are straightforward vs complex cases like a lot of travelling or stayed outside straight for more than 2 years.

We stayed our initial 3 years outside however since mid of 2019 we moved here permanently and applied for renewal once we were more than 2 years inside Canada.

What number do you call? The number I call never picks up call 1-888-242-2100
