PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

Hello everyone,
Please find below my situation:
1- We received your application for a permanent resident card on April 27, 2021.
2- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on August 17, 2021.
3-We started processing your application on August 17, 2021
I have not received any communication since then. It has been more than 140 days since the processing of the application. I called them on September 6 and they informed me that my card in fabrication.
Please give guidance.

Now it says Decision made but has no date on it.

We have not received any communication since then. It has been more than 165 days since receiving the application. Please give guidance.

Sounds like your card got selected for in-person pick up. I would suggest you give IRCC a call to ask.

Your COPR can never expire as this is confirmation of you being a PR of Canada. the PR card allows you to enter Canada if you travel. Otherwise you will require a PR travel document (PRTD) which can only be obtained from the country you are travelling from to Canada and at this time there is no guarantee on the timeline for receiving the PR card and no guarantee that you will get the PRTD from the country you are leaving from (assuming this is India) as the Embassy may be restricted services. I understand that if you have a US visa, you can drive across the land border as a PR providing it is not a cmmercial vehicle like a bus etc.- maybe a rental car and there may be many questions asked by border control. I got my COPR in July and am waiting to travel after I receive the PR card (I am CEC inland). @legalfalcon please correct me where I may be wrong in my answer

Hi guys. If I sent application in September 9 and received AOR September 16 then it means they considered my urgent application and approved for urgent treatment? Thanks.

mine was send under urgent as well Received AOR And In Process all from May 17. nothing after that till now. I guess they didnt think it to be urgent .

You were probably selected for in-person pickup from the local office. Have you contacted them? and do you meet the requirements for your PR renewal? Were you living for extended times and working outside Canada ... etc?

hi guy i apply pr renewal application may5 and application delivered 10may through canada post i received AOR 14 september my status showing now in process im very very very upset im sick person more than year ihave leg injuried my right leg fractur major surgry my leg so i dont know when i take my pr card some people get pr card after AOR 3 4 days so we r requested pl send my card ASP i realy need help plll

I see other timelines here saying card has been sent. But there is no update for me after this. Anyone in the same boat? How long will it take from now?

Yea, mine went to complete on Sept 17th. Says my card is now sent.

Also another question guys (sorry for bothering again and again), if it had said to update absences re-sign and redate can you just resign and redate the application or do a new one because I just re-signed and re-dated the old one as I had nothing to update

Hi there, can I ask what was your resolution on this? Ready to re submit my application but I am completely lost if I have to change the evaluation dates to current? Should I use the original evaluation date?
