Hi Guys

Application received at office: 22 jun

AOR: 6 oct

Decision Made : 18 oct

Still no card sent

anybody else having such a delay in card??

I called IRcc customer care but they don’t have any answers except that we don’t have any response yet.
Hi yes, my timelines are similar. Package received June 28th, AOR Oct 15th, and Decision made Oct 15th.

I have called them too and they keep telling me the card is in process and that these are normal timelines, obviously that isn't the case. people who applied in October have got mailed their card.

Yeah it’s so frustrating … some people get the decision made within couple of days of AOR and card sent at the same time… till Friday they had no answer … all they said that the card is approved and we haven’t got any reply on the message we sent on your behalf in dec … today they said the card went in production yesterday … It’s very random

I am in Toronto. No idea yet about how many days it will take to reach. I will post as soon as I get it
Congratulations. If you don’t mind can you please confirm that on the mail envelope whether does it says “Do Not Forward” or not when you get your card.
Because they mailed our cards on Dec 20 2021. But unfortunately they sent it to my old address but luckily I have mail forwarding. So far I did not receive the cards.

I really appreciate if you can advise me once you receive your card.
Thanks in advance

If you don't mind, can you please suggest did you change the address in PR Card renewal process after submitting the application to IRCC?

Yes I did it on ECAS but it never updated. When I saw decision made I called them and they said they sent the cards on my old residence address even though I had different mailing address.

In process since Nov. 24, fwiw. I am a special case as I travel a ton, but I don't know that there is any rhyme or reason. I'm gonna start my daily calls soon, which I had to do 5 years ago as well. Eventually someone found it (It was already at the in-person pick-up office, but they didn't bother to tell me.) I'm guessing I'll have to do the same dance this time.
So you are saying your last pr renewal was in person pickup and you called them.. Then only they told you the status and accordingly you picked yur card..

Yes. The first couple of calls no one even knew what was going one, but they finally tracked it down. And yeah, it had gone to the office for pick-up but they hadn't told me. This was 5 years ago, however, and their on-line/email process was not as robust, but I'm expecting the same this year.

Thanks for detailed response.

Today, we have tried to update DL and OHIP with passport and marriage certificate but funny part is that, they can update only last name for my wife but not a middle name and last name. as per officer, I need to get official legal name change certificate. looks like that is option I need to follow. Is that case with you or you have updated only last name?
Yes, that could potentially be a problem. It is safer if you go the name change certificate route then - since you can use that for all future applications if needed. In my case, I was able to do it.

Here are my timelines. Hope this helps for the people who are waiting
  1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on September 10, 2021.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on December 3, 2021.
  3. We started processing your application on December 3, 2021.
  4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on January 5, 2022.
I have received the card today(finally!!).

- Requested for Urgent processing and got approved (but ended up getting processed within regular timelines only)
- My MP has created a casefile and received an update in mid-december that our application was pending for photo resubmission whereas no such correspondence was sent to us. Support center asked us to wait while the MP was suggesting to resend the photos. To be on safer side we resent photos for all three applicants.
- Was in regular calls with support center, submitted webforms and tried every possible option to accelerate processing but no luck.
- My wife's card was printed and mailed on Dec 22 whereas for myself and my daughter it was printed and sent only on Jan 5th.
- Had to reschedule my international travel to stay back and pick up the cards, while my family travelled out.
- It took 5 business days to receive the card in London, ON
