oh this is bad, I just posted that my wife's application was delivered on Sep 24 using lettermail and she just received AOR today. Do you wanna give them a call?At what point should I consider they lost my package? I applied on 23rd Aug, no AOR yet.
I'm trying to find the right number. I've already sent an email to the MP, but they haven't replied yet.oh this is bad, I just posted that my wife's application was delivered on Sep 24 using lettermail and she just received AOR today. Do you wanna give them a call?
I am also in the same situation. I applied for myself and my 2 kids. Received AOR only for my application. Please update if you get any more information.Hello @Sania01 Did you receive seperate AORs for each of the family member application? I had three application in the same mailing package, received AOR confirming the receipt of the application for one of them last Thursday but not for the other two.
If you ask IRCC then they will advise 6 months I think but since it is almost 5 months now I suggest that you reapply and try to make this an urgent request for which you should also include some information and evidence with your application. At what point should I consider they lost my package? I applied on 23rd Aug, no AOR yet.
I am not sure that this 730 days rule is being followed without exceptions as since the start of pandemic IRCC has started having delays for all types of applications. There was an advise I read somewhere issued earlier in 2021 where IRCC allowed applicants to apply for renewal 6 months before expiry to better manage these delays. I can tell you that I myself in September having just completed 2 years in Canada and my application is under process with AOR received on 25 Nov. I have seen applicants after my application who have had their processing completed. I think one thing that is taking more time in my case is that I have travelled a lot all around the world since I became a Permanent Resident and visited Canada more than 10 times before finally making the move in Sep 2021. They are just running through my travel history I suppose. Is anyone in the group who was short on days less than 730 days to renew PR card? How long it took to get the card and how long was the process?
This is not unusual, if they find any information or evidence incomplete or unable to verify this can lead to AOR for not everyone in the family coming at the same time. Just bear in mind that there are cases where AORs for the other members in the family have also come months apart.Hello @Sania01 Did you receive seperate AORs for each of the family member application? I am 9 weeks AOR, if you call the main help number 1-888-242-2100 i have not got through to a person yet. i have sent 3 webforms but just getting the generic reply. I emailed my MP 3 weeks ago, and she has not got back to me. I am at the point where i am thinking of hiring an immigration lawyer, don't know if anyone else has had any success in doing that, but feel like I don't have any other options left.I have a same time line.. is it 6 weeks after they starting processing when we can call them and they have an answer?
Does that mean if we didn't receive the AOR on same day something is missing and they return the application? Or there will be someone else who review the document and verify? This is not unusual, if they find any information or evidence incomplete or unable to verify this can lead to AOR for not everyone in the family coming at the same time. Hmm same as mine decision made since 23 nov haven’t received anythingHi, My and family's PR card renewal application was delivered on 14th September and email acknowledgement was received on 25th November and since then the status on ECAS says Decision Made for all four of us but when I click on the Decision Made status it only shows the following:
Were you checking your application status on ECAS and what was the status it was showing before line 4 was added.
- We received your application for a permanent resident card on September 14, 2021.
- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 25, 2021.
- We started processing your application on November 25, 2021.
Not necessarily missing or incomplete, delays generally happen when information verification takes longer either within IRCC or outside it.Does that mean if we didn't receive the AOR on same day something is missing and they return the application? Or there will be someone else who review the document and verify?
