PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

Hello My current status is Decision Made and the details are as below. I still did not get an update and it has been 5 weeks now. What is the normal time in the current situation to know the decision details?

Permanent Resident Card

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on May 12, 2021.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 16, 2021.
3. We started processing your application on September 16, 2021.

its almost similar to mine.They received my application on May 31. In process On September 20 and decision made on Oct 5. Until now no updates yet.

Since my citizenship application didn't move I requested a PR renewal.
I'm aware they received by Canada post tracking but I have no clue how to track it with cic.

This is similar timeline to my son’s too and until now no updates about DM. We are travelling on December 17 and everything has been paid . This is causing us too much anxiety.

Raise a IRCC web form for urgent processing and provided details for your travel.

Application delivered on 18 May, wife got AOR in mid Sept and PR card on last week of Sept. But, no AOR or information is provided for my son.

I just received my response yesterday which is Oct 26. I sent it on Oct 18

May i ask, what did they tell you?

Update on my family member's application: GCkey now showing "Approved".
October 27, 2021 Your application was approved. We mailed your Permanent Resident Card to you. Your card can take up to 6 weeks to arrive. Validity until late 2026.

Card Mailed: Oct 27, 2021
Physical presence: Little less than 1000 days (at the time of the application)

Also, the status should be changed to "Complete" if the PR card is sent in the mail. If the status is still "Decision Made" and not updated as "Complete" is not a positive sign. Please call asap instead of waiting further.

Many people here said that they have called and no further information was provided. I am so lost.

I just realised that I made a typo for one of the employments. i.e. instead of 97XXXX INC, I mistakenly typed 92XXXX INC. however I did provide my SIN number, it's just a typo. What should I do? I need to travel in 3 weeks? Please help

I don’t think it’s too big of a problem. We are humans, we make mistakes. Is it already in DM? If it is you are good. If you are really worried, update that via webform. Don’t worry. The mistake is extremely insignificant to have any fundamental impact on the whole application.
