PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

Hi Guys,

Happy to see the movements in cases.

I was just wondering whose cases are taking time? like from changing the status from in process to decision made, case of people who travelled outside more often are taking time or its just random.

I sent messages to some members but they did not answer yet.

Lets share here if someones status change takes time like more than 2 weeks from in process to decision made.

My case took 12 days with too many travels, but I have a Canadian spouse.

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on May 20, 2021.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 13, 2021.
3. We started processing your application on September 13, 2021.

DM on Sep 13 but no update since then

Anyone having same status?
Application received 20th May
Same here.. AOR on 15th September
Decision made on 16th September
No response after that.

They take 5 business days or even more to respond to your enquiry.

Their response is a single letter they send to all people who ask them questions. No matter what the question is.

I can't understand what exactly happens between DM and when you receive your card. Some people receive it in 5 days and some more than a month and some months. Nothing is stable in IRCC except long queues of applications which always exist.

They take 5 business days or even more to respond to your enquiry.

5 business days before covid-19, I think. They responded to me once after about one month.

Hi All, Anyone sent in their apps in July heard anything? Mine was received July 25th as per CP tracking. By reaching he threads they look to be working on May and June at this time.

Hi everyone! Thanks to everyone for sharing the timelines, support, and advice here. It heals a lot.

I wanted to kindly ask for advice on my case. I have mailed all requested documents for my first PR Card on May 15. Once I have linked my PR Card application to GCKey account it says that IRCC received it on May 17th. And since than I have not heard anything... I have sent a webform, I have called IRCC. All they say - wait.
Is anybody here who have applied in the middle of May and still waiting?

I submitted a PR card renewal application in July (the pacakge was delivered on July 5th). I have not heard anything yet.

July's applicants' time hasn't come yet. In a month or so, I believe.
