PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

Hi,

My mother’s application was received by IRCC on February 11th. We received AOR on April 13th. The status has been “decision made” since April 14th. No progress since then. What makes me worried is that it has already exceeded the processing time mentioned in the website which is 66 days now. I tried to call them and talk to an agent several times today, but the voice machine said that they can’t transfer my call to an agent due to the high volume of calls.
Here is the timeline:

Permanent Resident Card

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on February 11, 2021.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 13, 2021.
3. We started processing your application on April 13, 2021.

What do you suggest? Should I send a webform? Please kindly advice. I appreciate your advice in advance.

Hi All just received my PR Card in the Mail today.

Final Timeline:
Application Posted: 25 January 2021
Document Received (per postal Tracking): 05 February 2021
AOR: 31 March 2021
Final Decision Made: 13 April 2021
Receipt Date (via Mail): 21 April 2021

just be a little patient, you've went thru the worrying part if your application shows decision made, your card must be under production now and soon out for delivery. it may take 2-3 weeks more once your decision is made.

i still haven't received AOC, for my application that was received on February 15th

Biometric query:

i sent my family PR renewal application yesterday and also paid the biometric fee because in “pay my fees” section in pr renewal instruction file it was clearly mention to pay PR card fee and biometric fee.

But now i read on forum that we dont have to pay biometric fee. Can anybody update on this ..?? Why its so confusing if they dont need why they mention in “pay my fees” section ...??

And if biometric is not needed will they refund the fee ..???

It took 4 days for me. Received approval on April 19 and received my card yesterday April 23

Hi All,
I am posting this question on behalf of my friend.
He is a Canadian citizen, his wife and kids are PR holders. His family moved to India last year during covid and not planning to return anytime soon due to this pandemic.
His wife's PR is expiring in June 2021 and she has met the eligibility criteria by staying 2 yrs already in Canada under the PR visa. Can he extend her PR while in India itself? Any challenges in that?

His wife's PR doesn't expire her PR card. All she needs to do is apply for a PRTD. Has he always been a citizen or is it recent?
