No, they don't send emails. However, if you have linked your application to "MyCIC" account, they send an email that status has changed (Approved)

My question is that I only can link the application for my 1st PR card; however, I can not link the new renewal application with the MYCIC account. What can I do?

is anyone else having issues receiving the actual PR card?

My sons application for renewal was complete by Jan 20th and the card was mailed, but up to now we didn't receive anything. We're in BC, but this seems like a real long time.
In the mean time I submitted a webform to inquire if they have any more info or if the card was returned for some reason.
In the mean time his ecas has been removed, probably since it was complete for about 1 month. Luckily I had some screenshots from ecas to attach to the webform

Should be a straight forward. Are you using the UCI or Application Number? Make sure you provide all other details like birthday, residence country and country of birth .. etc

Were you able to link the renewal application? I cant seem to link it either. It linked my old application (when i first got my PR).
 
I am also unable to link the application.
I sent my renewal form on Dec 28th 2020 and was delivered on Dec 31st 2020, however did not hear anything yet about my application.
 
Can anybody help me by suggesting how much time does the card take to get printed ? I spoke to the ircc call centre agent and they told me that the card has been approved and has been sent to the printing centre since 11th Feb 2021 . Have been waiting since 2nd Feb as my ecas status got activated the same day and the status shown is " DECISION MADE"
