Hello, it has been a month since they received the extra documentation that they asked me to send: addresses for the last 5 years and copies of all my passports. I know they received it because of the courier.
However It has been a month and got no update on ecas or my cic.
Anyone know how long does it take to get an update once they receive they extra documentation?

If you hit the “Decision Made”, do you see an extra line has been added and mentions any thing about your card or just says that your application is in process?

Decsion made on Sunday? They are working on weekends?
I checked for the first time Today..they might have made it earlier!

I just see three lines..

Permanent Resident Card Renewal
  1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on September 10, 2020.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 14, 2020.
  3. We started processing your application on November 14, 2020.
  4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on November 16, 2020.

Um planning to send my documents on Dec. 16 (this will be 2 yrs and 1 month, just in case), do you think they might be off work for their Christmas holidays? Or how long in general they will be off their jobs? Do you think its a safe decision?

Why not add some more days to your eligibility and send it in first week in January. Except you need to leave the country soon and will require the card earlier. Realistic turnover time is current 8 - 10 weeks and should keep improving from the trend.

Do you find it risky to have 1 month only more than the standard 2 years period? And do you think sending in 16th of Dec., might reach their very busy days? And yes, sadly I need to leave earlier :(

What do those 3 lines mean?
Line 1: application received date: Sept 25
Line 2: acknowledgement sent date: Dec 01
Line 3: started processing application date : Dec 01.
...
I am hoping that the 4th line will be added when they send the renewed card.

Depends on when you plan to leave the country, however it is better to err on the side of caution I would say.
