I sent my PR renewal in May and it has been marked as submitted as June 2nd. Taken a look through this thread and there's been a few other lengthy submissions.
I was wondering if there's a good way to follow up with CIC (other than the web forms) given the duration is now beyond the expected renewal timeline?

Congrats, which office processed your application? I sent my docs to the Montreal office and they received on Aug 20th.
There is only 1 address for PR Card renewal that is on the official website that I know of.

49 Dorchester Street

My urgent PR application is:
  1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on November 23, 2020.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 23, 2020.
  3. We started processing your application on November 23, 2020.

Is it normal that it's still in processing?
When should I expect to see a decision made or card was sent?

Did you get PR or still waiting ? Mine is not delivered till now
No I didn't check my mail as it been shared by others in this forum that it takes about 1 week or 2 to get it.

And so today we had the change in the 2 out 3 applications, both mine and my wife moving to complete and with the timeline below:

Permanent Resident Card
  1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on August 25, 2020.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on November 4, 2020.
  3. We started processing your application on November 4, 2020.
  4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on November 26, 2020.
Our daughter who had since Nov 5 the status of Decision Made and only the first 3 lines above is still having this unchanged. In both my case and my wife's it moved directly from In Process to Complete. It never showed Decision Made.

I have received mine. When did they ship the card for you? I guess the province also matters. I am in the west coast.

Were these your first cards or renewals?

My application for a first card has been stuck in submitted status since November 17th and I'm really not sure why. It worries me that other people are receiving completed status within a few days but mine hasn't.

Hi Bloodrose. These were all renewals... all processes are protracted.\; our citizenship process is like everyone else, taking forever.

So, I have received my card in the mail. It was shipped out on November 23. Good luck to everyone.
Do you mind disclosing the city where it was delivered? Mine was sent on 23rd Nov as well but no signs of it till now, trying to estimate the delivery date as I need to catch a flight in 2 weeks.

Vancouver, BC. Where are you located?

Hi All,

Need your valuable inputs, I am new to this forum and was trying to check how the timelines are for the new PR card arrival.

I completed my landing in Canada on Oct 6 2020 and I was able to link my PR card application online as well. It shows submitted from the past 1.5 month. Can anyone tell me how much time its taking to get the new PR card in the current scenario?

I am planning to visit my home country so was planning to have physical card in hand so it will be easy for my return. Any suggestion/inputs will be helpful..

Thanks in advance!!!!
