hi there,
I have a question regarding how long in average that the new PR could receive the PR card after landing?
Are we different than the 'normal' new PR card holder process?
The reason of asking is because I checked the IRCC website, it says only 14 days to received a new PR card:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ces/new-immigrants/pr-card/who-can-apply.html
but when I read other posts in the forum, I don't see people would get PR card after 14 days...most of the time it take 2-3 months in average...
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ces/new-immigrants/pr-card/who-can-apply.html
another question:
if we plan to do soft-landing and uses friends' address - do we need to sign an authorization letter to let them to receive on behalf of ourselves? or it is just a registered mail and don't need anyone to sign & receive? ( will those cards get lost? )
thanks for your answers in advance,
