Can someone please guide me, as me and my family are planning to land in Toronto at the end of June, begining of July, however we will only be able to stay for a couple of weeks at this point then will return to Dubai for another year then settele for good afterwards. Since we will need the PR cards to re-enter Canada, and the 2 weeks we will be staying won't be enough for the cards to be mailed I wont be able to provide the address for any of the short home stays or motel we will be staying in, as I can't guarantee they will send them to us later on. ???
Since we don't have friends or relatives in Canada, can any one please suggest or recommend what to do?

Can any one give us their address or someone's address that can receive our cards then mail them to us that would be great, and I am willing to pay them ;)

Please advise me as soon as possible, as this is an issue that is occuping my mind for the last few weeks.

Thanks,

Sihs :) :) :)

Wow, that would be great if it can work out, I'll check it out for sure. :D

Thanks a lot buddy.
Sihs :) :)

I think that a PO box address is the normal address of the store with the box number on the first address line.

You know Baloo I just checked up the link, but it doesn't seem anyone who posted on it is sure if it's ok to provide a postal box address as they are checking with each other, and no one said they actually tried it, so I'm really not sure, still confused and woried as if there is any problems with the delivery of the cards it will pose a threat to us, as we won't be able to go in person if needed.

Will keep looking. Thanks once again for the follow up.

Sihs :D

Will check it out. Thanks :)

I provided a PO box number for my PR card when I landed on 25th February and the IO said it was fine. I am currently staying in a town that does not do home delivery for post and so everyone here has PO boxes.

The IO didn't even blink when I wrote that address on the form.

Hi Mandif,

Can you please let me know which town are you staying in as maybe I'll be able to land there and provide a P.O.Box number instead of worrying about the address issue. :)

One more question can you please share how long did it take to receive your PR cards in the Mail Box?

Thanks,
Sihs :D :D

I haven't got my PR card yet but drivers licence place and SIN card place had no problems just taking my CORP. I am staying in Bonnyville in northern Alberta, although I landed in Sweetgrass Montana and they just didnt have any problems with a PO box so I assume no landing site would.

Dear MandiF,
Thank you for the information, I will check the area out, and see how easy will it be for me to land there, as according to the experience of some members on the forum, especially those landing in Toronto they were asked to provide the address they were staying at not a PO Box.

Thank you once again, and good luck with your future in Canada, and hope that you get your PR cards very sooooon. :) :)
